Job Description


As a Head of Human Resources, you’ll oversee end-to-end functions, offering expert advice, managing HRIS data accuracy, and driving policy creation. You’ll enhance processes, improve performance, and ensure a positive employee experience by collaborating with leadership and HR partners to address challenges, refine policies, and support ongoing manager education.

Employment type: Full-Time

Shift: Day Shift (Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM); Weekends Off

Work setup: Onsite, BGC Taguig

Salary: Up to PHP120,000

The Qualifications We Seek


  • 5+ years of experience in HR management or operations, including team leadership and HRIS oversight.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management or a related field.
  • CHRP certification or equivalent (required).
  • Resides within a 1.5-hour commute to BGC and willing to work onsite as needed.
  • Skilled in process mapping and documentation (current and future states), using Visio or Excel, and working with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Proven ability to establish and manage compliant, efficient HR environments aligned with best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, including data management, reporting, analytics, and process improvement.
  • Strong skills in policy writing, based on employment law, contracts, and HR standards.
  • Demonstrated success in leading HR projects, including planning, execution, and post-project analysis.
  • Committed to delivering a positive employee and stakeholder experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication across different formats and audiences.
  • Willing to travel internationally as needed.
  • Able to manage a high-volume workload in fast-paced environments, motivating teams to meet goals.
  • Flexible, professional, and resilient, with a strong commitment to confidentiality, inclusion, and data protection compliance.


Your Daily Tasks


Employee Experience:


  • Deliver an excellent employee and manager experience, measured through KPIs and ongoing feedback, while taking accountability for providing expert advice, guidance, and support to managers and employees (through to satisfactory resolution) including contractual, overtime, allowances, sickness, and process and policy guidance, escalating any hotspots to the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders based in the Philippines and UK to ensure a seamless candidate-to-employee experience, supporting resourcing requirements and key projects as necessary.
  • Manage positive relationships between internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure an excellent employee experience during new starter and leaver processes, Occupational Health, and benefit provision.
  • Suggest ongoing improvements or amendments to enhance the manager and employee experience in people policies.
  • Oversee project management and system setup to ensure acquired employees are integrated into systems, with appropriate rewards, benefits, and terms and conditions applied from day one.


HR Operations:


  • Ensure all employee lifecycle events are managed through the correct documented processes, adhering to service levels and legislative requirements.
  • Ensure timely HR system processing for Payroll and Finance to meet KPIs and generate data analytics for People Operations reports, Leadership, or audit purposes as needed.
  • Proactively develop and maintain upgrades, data conversions, configurations, security, workflows, housekeeping, and user audit processes to add value and promote time-saving initiatives for employees, managers, and People Services teams, in collaboration with our Philippine payroll partner.
  • Be accountable for the accuracy of all legal correspondence, including employment contracts, change letters, leaver letters, best practices, and automation.
  • Lead the annual and monthly People Operations tasks and activities (e.g., Medical, NBI, Pay Review, Bonus Cycle, DOLE Audits) and support the team with any required statutory reporting.
  • Monitor, audit, and maintain the quality of information in systems, ensuring regular data cleansing and housekeeping within teams.
  • Manage the on-time delivery of HR policies to ensure regular updates or policy rewrites.
  • Ensure process maps, working instructions, and training plans are up to date.
  • Ensure team members complete training for all processes and systems.


Compensation, Reward & Benefits:


  • Ensure the HRIS reflects all rewards, benefits, contractual terms, and conditions for accurate recording, automation, and workflow functionality.
  • Support staff safety through required vaccination programs (e.g., annual medicals and flu vouchers).


Continuous Performance Improvements:


  • Use manager feedback to review the user experience and support the efficient delivery of people needs.
  • Recommend and implement process efficiency changes using HRIS and approved new systems.
  • Focus on data integrity, HRIS upgrades, and performing regular governance audits as needed.
  • Collaborate with Finance Analysts to ensure that people reporting and analytics align with financial data (e.g., KPI reporting).


Transformation:


  • Lead the transformation of the HR service in the Philippines to a ‘best in class,’ one-stop, advisory service, ensuring training, education, and development.


People Operations Team Management:


  • Build, train, and deliver an experienced, capable, and respected HR team.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, team huddles, appraisals, PDPs, and training needs assessments, providing ongoing feedback and improvement suggestions using case review templates.
  • Deliver regular training sessions that upskill employees, address changes in employment legislation, and ensure excellent knowledge of people policies and processes, promoting a 'right first time' approach.


General Responsibilities


  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, practicing effective time management and consistently delivering objectives.
  • Ensure the design and implementation of effective work processes, policy applications, and advisory services that support stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Conduct ongoing best practice reviews, horizon scanning, and research on advancements in People Operations to identify and implement approved transformation initiatives.
