Our partner is a leading Australian business specializing in over-50s lifestyle communities, holiday parks, and mixed-use caravan parks. Established in 2006, they have expanded to operate over 20 lifestyle villages across multiple states, offering affordable, high-quality living solutions. In 2017, they ventured into the tourism sector and now manage numerous holiday parks across Australia and New Zealand. With a strong focus on innovation and community living, they continue to enhance the residential and holiday experience for thousands of people.


The Role

This is an HRBP role supporting our partner's Australian, shared services business unit. You will report to the CHRO who is based in Australia, and work with the Australian HR team to deliver an excellent level of HR service and consulting. NOTE: To be successful in this role you must have prior experience working in an HR role supporting Australian clients and have a good working knowledge of Australian employment legislation.


Responsibilities

  • Partnering with the Shared Services Business Unit leadership group (Finance, IT, Revenue, Marketing, HR, Procurement, Special Projects and Design).
  • Business Unit is circa 80-90 people in total in Australia.
  • Recruitment of all shared services vacancies.
  • Annual performance appraisal, development plans and salary review process management.
  • Success planning project for the department.
  • Management of ER advice and matters.
  • Change managmement and communication plans.
  • HR projects (e.g. HRIS rollout, HR Excellence).


Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR (international or Australian HR degree highly regarded)
  • 2 - 3 years of HRBP experience in an Australian working enviornment.
  • Native level/business level English.
  • Strong influencing and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to add value in an HR role.
  • Proficient in HRIS tools and Microsoft Office suite.
