Job Description

The People Development & Engagement officer plays a key role in enhancing employee growth, performance, learning & development, and workplace culture. This position is responsible for designing and implementing learning and development programs, employee engagement initiatives, and talent management strategies to support workforce (both employees and skilled workers) retention and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute training programs tailored to organization needs, including technical skills, soft skills, leadership development, and full awareness of the safety compliance.
  • Facilitate onboarding and orientation programs to ensure a seamless transition for new employees.
  • Implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment and strengthen company culture.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site leaders to assess training needs and provide workforce development solutions.
  • Organize team-building activities, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives to enhance employee morale.
  • Support performance management processes, including coaching, mentoring, and career development planning.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR best practices related to employee relations, training, and development.
  • Gather employee feedback through surveys, focus groups, and other engagement tools to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

1. With 2 - 3 years experience in People Learning and Development r

2. Psychology graduate or related courses | MBA major in Human Resource is a plus

3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills

4. Deep understanding of the construction industry’s workforce challenges and training requirements.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
