Job Description

As a General Ledger Accounting Analyst, you will prepare and maintain financial records, tracking the organization's assets, liabilities, and profit and loss. Reporting to the CPA and VP of Finance, you’ll thrive in this role with intellectual curiosity, analytical skills, and a hands-on approach—playing a key part in a dynamic financial team.

The Qualifications We Seek

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Required).
• Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• 4-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in financial reporting and reconciliation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Sheets.

Your Daily Tasks

• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) tasks.
• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Integrate Warehouse Management System (WMS) for seamless financial tracking.
• Conduct pricing analysis to support financial decision-making.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Manage monthly journal entries and maintain financial accuracy.
• Perform account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Support the cash flow model for receipts and payments on a weekly basis.
• Reconcile petty cash accounts, verify deposits, and respond to bank inquiries.
• Verify and process invoices, receipts, and bills as required.
• Assist in the development of budgets and variance explanations.
• Support month-end and year-end accounting close processes.
• Prepare financial statements and accounting schedules.
• Perform journal entries and ensure proper documentation.
• Lead and support continuous improvement projects in accounting processes.
• Provide ad hoc accounting and financial support as needed.
• Assist in other back-office operations when required.
