Job Summary:


The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department of our BGC, Santa Rosa and Makati branches including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.


Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviews, and selection.
  • Coordinate onboarding processes to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into the company.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee files and recruitment metrics.

Employee Relations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution.
  • Foster a positive workplace culture through engagement initiatives and feedback programs.

Policy Implementation and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Update and communicate HR policies and procedures to employees.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Performance Management

  • Assist in implementing performance management systems, including performance reviews and improvement plans.
  • Support managers in employee coaching and development efforts.

Training and Development

  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning opportunities for employees.
  • Organize workshops and sessions to promote professional development.

HR Operations and Reporting

  • Maintain HR databases and generate periodic reports for management.
  • Process payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with the finance department.
  • Handle employee documentation, including contracts, leave management, and terminations.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • At least one year of human resource management experience preferred.
