Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and provide overall management of our data environment

• Install, test, and maintain SQL Servers, Databases, DataFactory, etc

• Administration and management of Azure SQL Database

• Maintain database performance by calculating optimum values for database parameters

• Participate in root cause analysis for database issues

• Support database functions by crafting and coding utilities

• Implement database backup, recovery, and redundancy strategies

• Perform remote analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex incidents

• Apply best practices in managing databases, based on the ITIL IT Service management framework

• Take ownership in providing accurate and reliable solutions to clients, document processes, and application

configuration

• Manage effective professional working relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders

Job Required Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in BS Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related course

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role

• MCSA or MCSE Certification

• Strong background in database configuration, MSSQL Server, Azure SQL Database

• Strong background in Python, Microsoft R

• Strong adherence to the ITIL framework for Incident, Problem, Change, Request Fulfillment, Asset Management

• Proven experience in complex troubleshooting

• Strong customer service orientation

• Proficient in oral and written English

• Ability to conduct technical diagnosis and analysis

• Assertive and resourceful, ability to interact fluently with US-based clients

• Engaging with internal (core teams) and external stakeholders (clients)

• Broad knowledge of IT (specific application)

Travel Required: 

• 0 – 10%

Language Skills:

Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,

operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
