About The Role:

We're looking for an innovative learner who can drive Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) efforts with our technology teams. The candidate will assist in the product testing of Civicom's apps, websites, and different web-based technologies to ensure quality, proactively detect regression, and verify expected functionality.

The QA specialist role will play an essential part in Civicom’s product development process by ensuring that software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using Github.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet the business and client’s needs.
• Coordinate with constituents to identify requirements
• Familiar with Agile methodologies, and practices and able to contribute meaningfully to a fast-paced and dynamic team.
• Capacity to stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Design, develop and execute automation test scripts is a plus

Required Qualifications:

• Needs to be proficient with the English language, both oral and written.
• Strong learner and dedicated team player.
• Has initiative and a high level of analytical thinking.
• Familiar with software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Has the ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans, test cases, and product documentation.
• Willing to learn and work with automated testing scripts
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
• Must be willing to work in US eastern daytime hours. (night shift PH)
• Hybrid work in the Alabang, Muntinlupa area.
