Positions in this function coordinate the processes and activities that focus on restoring service after an incident occurs. Skilled professionals with solid technical knowledge of installation, configuration and support of desktop applications with an emphasis on M365 Apps for Enterprise applications.  Provides customer support to resolve level 3 break/fix incidents related to desktop applications used across the enterprise.  Responsible for Product Lifecycle Management of desktop applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 3 support for Desktop Applications & supported services– specific interest with M365 Apps for Enterprise (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Product Lifecycle Management and Support for desktop applications - maintains version control within the environment and knowledge of the lifecycle information for product roadmaps
  • Engage with various technical teams to assist with break/fix issues
  • Ensure ‘how to’ documents for end user community is relevant, up-to-date and easy to access
  • Work with vendor to know and understand lifecycle information, obtain new and upcoming knowledge, and open incident tickets as appropriate with vendor.
  • Project work including deployment of applications and add-ins to the environment
  • Operations Support - Incident Management, Service Request, Change Management
  • Monitors environment health and the facilitation of high severity incidents to improve the state of service availability and continuity
  • Works with less structured, more complex issues
  • Serves as a resource to others
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Requisito

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience supporting & maintaining M365 Office products
  • 5+ years of experience in an IT Desktop Support role troubleshooting technical issues
  • Must be able to work independently and prioritize workload
  • Strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience with vendors/external customers
  • Win10 / Mac - In-depth understanding of the Windows registry and application installation/configuration
  • Experience with Test Plan/Test Cases
  • Supporting critical applications in a production environment
  • Knowledge and experience with Product Lifecycle Management processes
  • Understanding of data analysis and gatherings
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite and other M365 Applications
