Job Description:

We are looking for a Mid-Level Ruby on Rails Developer with expertise in Vue.js to improve team efficiency and address client issues. The ideal candidate should be proactive, take full ownership of their code (including testing and deployment), and contribute to a stable and high-quality development process.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails (Rails 6) and Vue.js (TypeScript)
• Take full ownership of the development process, ensuring high-quality, well-tested code
• Work closely with the team to improve workflows and resolve client issues efficiently
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Full-Stack Development
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails (Rails 6) and Vue.js (TypeScript)
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working with a half-day overlap in the Central Time Zone (CST), preferably mornings

Nice to Have:

• Experience with testing frameworks and deployment pipelines
• Background in working with Agile development methodologies
• Previous experience fixing bugs and optimizing application performance
