We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as an Credit Administration and Secured Lending Officer.
Role Purpose
Perform processing the end-to-end journey for commercial home loan, asset link accounts and processing staff loans related activities in line with the Staff Financial Assistance Plan (FAP) guidelines, in accordance with the Bank’s established policies and procedures, and adherence to prescribed service standards.
To manage operational risk, including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting.
Principal Accountabilities:
Accurately prepares and timely dispatch of all bank-required Secured Lending documents.
Ensures prompt and accurate processing of loan drawdowns and IOI bookings including proper encoding of Software House Lending System (HLS) details, preparation of Cashier’s Order for Bank and/or Seller Payments, and credit to ADA account for the loan proceeds, loan rebooking, restructurings, amendments, and tagging of BSP pointer and endorsed accounts received from Special Accounts Unit (SAU).
Maintains security details in HUB (including updating/renewal of documents for secured loans); Performs account closure upon resignation or instruction by staff/commercial client. Monitor receipt/compliance of renewal documents such as but not limited to Real Estate Tax Receipts, OR/CR for Car Loans, Fire Insurance Premium Receipts.
Address enquiries on all staff and commercial loans (i.e., Housing, House Improvement, Car, Personal, Computer/Club Membership Loans) including limits, eligibility, balances, etc. Acts as content expert on the Staff Financial Assistance Plan policies for HBAP and HIIB employees. Facilitates Mid-Career Hires’ loan take-outs and restructuring.
Handles filing and safekeeping of security and loan documents including renewal documents; Prepares Cancellation Letters for closed HML and CRL accounts. Acts as custodian of all outstanding commercial HML/CRL master security files and corresponding credit folders and ensures that both files are accounted for by performing quarterly physical inventory of the same.
Performs other tasks deemed necessary as required with strict compliance of deadline/cut-off and provide cover in the absence of other colleagues in the section.
Assist in other functions within WPB Operations that may be assigned from time to time.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Knowledge in MS Excel, HUB, MWS and HLS
Knowledge and familiarity of procedures/SLA of other departments associated with Secured Lending
