PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Site Lead plans, directs and coordinates the operations of an organization focusing on the operation, maintenance and energy performance of industrial chilled water plants. The Site Manager / Senior Engineer is responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency, and profitability of the plants and manage the operation and maintenance’s teams onsite. Being part of ENGIE, the Senior Engineer commits to perform as its best to guarantee an international level of services quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinating all maintenance issues and schedules
• Ensuring all utility systems are inspected & in accordance with regulations
• Supervises, through subordinates, the maintenance, technical, & professional staff in carrying out their prescribed functions.
• Collaborate with ENGIE’s technical teams, suppliers, site team and client to identify actions to improve the energy performance of the chilled water plant, and lead the implementation of these actions
• Ensure zero accident in all aspects of works.
• Ensures that operating rules maximize safety considerations, & that proper and adequate training is provided to carry out emergency procedures.
• Coordinating building security & maintenance services
• Maintain a professional courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
• Negotiating bids & contracts for third party workers
• Prepares budget, & monitors expenditures to ensure proper and efficient management of funds.
• Follow established policies and those outlined in the client’s house rules.
• Perform any special projects and other responsibilities as may be determined.

Key Performance Indicators

• Attend to Client’s request and complaints
• Meet the target efficiencies/performance at site (from an operation and maintenance standpoint)
• Lead and manage a team of operators/technicians/engineers and improve their competencies
• Develop/set up operating procedures and other forms that may be vital in operations
• Measure cost effectiveness and find the best ways to reduce and manage your costs
• Meet health and safety objectives of ENGIE

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineer or Electrical Engineer.
• PRC Licensed.
• At least 5 to 10 years’ experience in similar position or any HVAC related, with relevant experience for at least 3 years in operation and maintenance of industrial chilled water plants.
