Job Description

  • Oversee 24/7 support and management of core technology services across diverse platforms, ensuring they are monitored, cost-effective, and reliable, while driving continuous improvement.
  • Lead a highly skilled, global team, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous enhancement, with a focus on risk reduction.
  • Strengthen team capabilities, enabling them to leverage evolving cloud, infrastructure, and networking technologies effectively.
  • Manage and optimize performance of managed service providers, ensuring disciplined contract oversight, seamless integration with internal teams, and a value-driven partnership.
  • Maintain and enhance finance, security, and operational standards, proactively addressing variances and driving standardized, automated, and simplified processes.
  • Utilize accurate data and metrics to make informed decisions, take measured risks, and challenge the status quo to drive improvements.
  • Provide clear direction and strategic alignment, influencing peers and stakeholders to eliminate complexity and support organizational goals.
  • Engage effectively with engineers, vendors, executives, and stakeholders, ensuring a strong understanding of business needs and how technology adds value.


The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of experience in IT service delivery or a related field, with 5-10 years supporting a global organization.
  • 5-10 years of direct leadership experience, managing teams and driving performance.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of managing a global team, understanding business priorities, and effectively engaging with diverse stakeholders.
  • Expertise in IT cloud platforms, infrastructure, and networks, with a deep understanding of leveraging majorhyperscalers while maintaining operational guardrails:
    • Cloud IaaS hosting and virtualization across multi-cloud environments, including VMware, Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS, with experience in cloud tools such as GitHub and Terraform.
    • Hardware asset management and Microsoft infrastructure services.
    • Backup and recovery solutions, including database backup tools like Commvault.
    • Network services for both office and industrial environments, including WAN, LAN, and WLAN (e.g., Cisco ISRs, Viptela SD-WAN).
    • Remote access tools such as Zscaler ZIA.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to design and implement global processes that drive efficiency without disrupting staff operations.
  • Proven track record of strategic planning, innovation, and project execution.
  • Commercial expertise, including managing budgets of $10M+, negotiating contracts, and aligning IT initiatives with business objectives.
  • Experience in Tier 1 vendor management, including governance and contract lifecycle oversight.
  • A solutions-driven mindset, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Data-driven decision-making, using metrics and insights to drive continuous improvement.
