The Opportunity: Private Equity Analyst

The Company is seeking talented, highly motivated individuals to assist in the evaluation and management of promising companies across a variety of sectors. The role presents a rare opportunity for finance professionals to work directly with senior investment executives as well as the management teams of portfolio companies. In addition, SofCap’s analysts are given the unique chance to accelerate their investment knowledge through their firsthand involvement in a wide range of transactions, from capital-raising initiatives and M&A, to restructurings and divestitures.


Responsibilities

§ Perform company, industry, and macroeconomic research related to the acquisition and management of target companies

  • Participate in the financial, operational, and legal due diligence of investments
  • Prepare research briefings, company reports, financial models, and marketing materials
  • Gather information and insight from the management teams of portfolio companies
  • Maintain relationships with consultants, vendors, and other counterparties
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and statutory requirements
  • Manage other deal-related projects and activities


Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Management, Mathematics, or equivalent
  • At least three (3) years of relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or similar*
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and presentation design
  • Keen attention to detail and strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be willing to work in Bonifacio Global City


*Candidates who have limited work experience but have demonstrated a very high degree of responsibility and strong work ethic, such as recent graduates with excellent academic performance, may also be considered.
