Oversee the business and financial operations and share responsibilities for the organization’s economic and financial performance.

As BUNCH’s Finance Controller, you will be a key leader for the financial operations of our rapidly growing company for both Hong Kong and the Philippines entities. You will be responsible for providing technical accounting expertise, improvement of financial processes, and development of a high-performing finance team. You must be a hands-on, roll up your sleeves type and should enjoy a fast-paced, innovative environment as well as demonstrate experience in growing and developing a team, particularly important traits and skills including curiosity, intelligence, logical thinking, ability to prioritize, and enthusiasm for change.

Your daily grind

Your duty includes owning all of accounting and reporting, including revenue recognition, general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, taxes, treasury management, budgeting, product costing, equity, and consolidation.

• Oversee all aspects of consolidating and financial accounting at the company for both HK and PH, including financial procedures and controls, financial period close, and financial statement preparation and analysis.
• Handle the company's treasury banking relationships, including cash management and investing activities.
• Administer, monitor, and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources.
• Proactively manage the company’s finances, including planning, budgeting, and forecasting of weekly, monthly and annual cash flows.

• Strong working knowledge of statutory compliance
• Superior analytical skills combined with solid business judgment and communication skills
• Flexible and creative, with the ability to learn new and complex concepts quickly
• Strategic perspective – ability to integrate finance, business, human resources, and legal perspectives into accounting and other decision-making in the company
• Exceptional work ethic – ability to “roll up sleeves”
• Modern process and tool thinking, specifically working with financial, accounting technology, and automation

What we expect you to have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or any related field
• Preferably with CPA license
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail both in review of others work and performance of own
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, self-motivation, professionalism
• Commitment to adapt to the team’s needs on a continual basis
• 6 or more years of relevant professional experience
