PRIMARY DUTIES

• Conduct corrective maintenance (troubleshoot, repair, and install machines and equipment) and execute preventive maintenance.
• Performs comprehensive inspections of machines and equipment and prepares labor, parts, and material requirements for the development of itemized estimates.
• Record and document according to procedures, assuring that all equipment documentation is up-to-date.
• Continuously improve the preventive maintenance system so that it is optimally effective in helping to reduce unplanned downtime and maximize productivity, minimizing cost.
• Monitor and review line maintenance activities for the continuous improvement of the systems.
• Provides inputs into preventive maintenance activities for the continuous improvement of the systems.
• Supports improvements and sustainability projects.
• Diagnose and analyze complex electronics, electrical, and mechanical equipment failures.
• Ensure adequate communications are maintained such that key information is passed to other technicians, EMD staff, and supervisors as applicable.
• Operates a variety of standard power tools and equipment in electrical installations and maintenance and repair activities on a regular basis.
• Monitor and carry out diagnosis and correct or replace malfunctioning electrical units.
• Perform replacement on diagnosed faulty electrical elements of machine including motors, relays, and switches; and set up a sensing mechanism utilizing hand tools.
• Performs thermal scanning activities.

OTHER DUTIES:

• Religiously obeys superior’s order, existing company rules and regulations, and safety standard operating procedures are being implemented all the time.
• Observe / conduct cleanliness and 7S housekeeping in the workplace in compliance to the Health and Safety Standards set by the company.
• Ensures participation in company productivity programs such as SGA and QCC.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
