Description

1. Design, develop and maintain production-grade blockchain applications, smart contracts and decentralised back-end services.
2. Architect and implement scalable distributed ledger solutions and integrate blockchain components with off-chain systems and APIs.
3. Write clean, testable code across Node.js, Python, Java and C# services and maintain SQL-based data layers; lead code reviews and ensure CI/CD best practices.
4. Conduct security-focused development: threat modelling, smart contract audits, cryptographic primitives and vulnerability remediation.
5. Collaborate with product, DevOps and QA teams to deliver features, mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical roadmap and documentation.

Requirements

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or a related field; Master’s or relevant blockchain certification (e.g., Certified Blockchain Developer) preferred.

Experience Level: Minimum 6 years professional software development experience with at least 3 years building blockchain/DLT solutions, smart contracts and decentralized applications.

Skills and Competencies: Strong practical experience with Node.js, Python, Java and C#; proficient in SQL and Git; familiarity with Solidity/Vyper, Ethereum, Hyperledger, smart contract testing frameworks, REST APIs, Docker and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities and Duties: Design and implement smart contracts, perform code and security reviews, write unit/integration tests, deploy and monitor blockchain networks and maintain technical documentation.

Working Conditions: Hybrid or remote-friendly role within an agile team; flexible hours to collaborate with distributed teams and occasional on-call or after-hours support for production incidents.
